Pickleball and Tennis

The very name Hollybrook Golf and Tennis Club suggests that we take tennis seriously at Hollybrook!

Our residents can count on 14 well-maintained tennis courts distributed in three different areas:  Eight are carpet surfaced, four are asphalt surfaced; and two are hard courts that are lined for six pickleball courts. 

Our pro shop, centrally located to 10 of the courts, is headquarters for our Tennis Pro, who (during the extended winter season) gives lessons and clinics, repairs rackets, and takes reservations for court assignments. He also supervises several tournaments. 

There are about 100 active players in our community. They represent all skill levels from beginner to advanced. 

PiCKLEBALL

The Pickleball community has grown in the last several years here at Hollybrook.

In response to that, we converted two of our hard court tennis courts into six dedicated pickleball courts that are enjoyed year-round by resident!

In addition to daily activity on the pickleball courts, Hollybrook also hosts Pickleball Tournaments.

We have a dedicated Pickleball Committee in place to oversee the growth and development of our Pickleball community.

A Tennis Committee of volunteers is in place to ensure an optimal experience for all players.  This Committee, together with the pro, organizes round robins and tournaments (often combined with a lunch), ensures courts are properly maintained, establishes rules and regulations for use of the courts, and monitors compliance. The committee also provides communication about tennis issues and events.
